Although closed to the public,Ross Priory is well worth a visit,Sir Walter Scott wrote parts of The Lady of the Lake and Rob Roy at the shoreline. The energetic can climb Duncryne Hill [141m] locally known as 'The Dumpling' and a must visit is Drymen with its delightful village pubs.
